        Hello!

I’m currently using bottles, as my young bunnies are pretty clumsy, and they share it pretty nicely. But when one bunny wants a drink at the same time as the other, things get rather strange.

The bunny wanting a drink will lick the drinking bunny until they stop, and so on. I’m just curious to know why they do this, as its pretty cute.

        Thanku Xx

It could be a way of saying “Stop that. I want some.” Wick licks my arm when he wants to be put down from being held, so this could be the same thing?

I think it’s a common way of getting attention among animals. My ferrets do this a lot as well. When I’m cuddling them too much and then want to get down, they’ll start licking me constantly (usually on the nose if I’m close enough). Then I know to put them down and let them go do their ferret things. My impression is that it’s a polite way of saying: “hey… um… excuse me… could you please… um…”
