What are some of the funny/dumb things your buns have done?

Every time one of my buns does something funny or dumb, I just can’t help laughing and thinking, you are just hilarious. It always warms my heart too. These are some of the things that Cheddar does. It’s always Cheddar because he is affectionately called my “dur, dur, dur” bunny.

• Sit there and happily lick the wall, floor, baseboards, or metal fence over and over again
• Jumps into a closed caged door and falls back (he has done this more than 5 times)
• Binky and falls to his side
• Run through and destroy a whole obstacle course that I carefully set up for him to jump over
• Attack a broom repeatly
• Attack and oblierate a wicker basket for 30 mins one day when he never cared for the basket during the 3 months it was there before
• Detach his pellet dish when it’s full so it all spills and then proceed to push it around with his head to let me know that he is hungry
• Use his dish as a potty

 Lolli doesn’t do much, but Eddie had done lots of dumb things.  Or maybe they weren’t dumb.  Ok, some of them were.  Like when he tried to jump OVER the coffee table to get to me and the couch and land on some unlit candles and other stuff.  Or when he jumped on a pile of comforters and proceeded to slowly deflate the pile.  He just looked around like “omg! ooohhhhhhhh!” and then hopped off.  lol   Here is a video of him when he fell into a box:

My bunny is a big flopper. When she flops, sometimes she flops too fast and does a complete roll over and gets up, looks around like “DID YOU SEE THAT? I HOPE NOT!!!!”

[Kate Monster]

Kate and Spence have a grass hidey house and obviously they enjoy being bunny monsters and eating it, but they also really like to stand on top of it to eat their hay. One day after attacking it for awhile, Spencer jumped up and top to eat his hay and the house slowly collapsed underneath him. It was like some silly slow motion cartoon. Then standing on top of the now flattened house, Spencer looked around like, holy cow! I hope no one saw that! Then he tried to get inside again even though it was completely flat. I wish I had a videa camera at the time 😀

Otto licks the couch a lot. It’s weird. He’s also slid off o fthe leather when he’s stood too close to the edge. Sometimes I try to put my hand there when he’s sliding, but other times he slides right off before I can reach for him.

One night Hannah had a bee in her bonnet and was running all over and jumping on everything. She tried to jump to the roof of the two storey Maze Haven from the ground and hit the edge with her tummy. After a couple seconds of scrambling with her front feet she fell off. Haha. She gave us a look like she hoped we hadn’t seen her.

Peppy is a big climber…she likes jumping onto the bed, onto the chair, and from the chair onto the desk. The problem is, sometimes she doesn’t quite make it where she’s trying to go! What ensues is a hilarious scramble (like Elrohwen described) for a few seconds before she falls. I’m sure she doesn’t think it’s nearly as amusing, but it just cracks me up every time! Hehe! She also sleeps in the WEIRDEST postions…it would scare me at first because she looked so dead, but I’ve gotten used to it and it’s just hilarious to see what she comes up with now.

Speaking of embarrassed bunnies, Eddie would get embarrassed when his jumps didn’t quite make it. Only he’d get all pouty and sulky when I laughed at him. I swear! One time, he sulked off to under the bed! LOL

There’s a ball made out of sea grass that the rabbits play with. One time Wooly had a hold of it in his mouth and he was tossing his head up and down making the ball flap up and down as well. I guess this wasn’t amusing him enough, so he stood up on his hind legs and attempted to do it again. Well, in the processing of tossing his head, he ended up losing his balance and falling backwards. It was pretty funny!

For Christmas my boyfriend got a really huge novelty bottle of scotch that he decided to open last night. I have no idea how big it is but it’s over a foot tall and has a metal holder and base for stability. As it was so big he took it out of the box and sat the bottle on the floor. Kate proceded to lick it profusely! She’s not that much of a licker so it was weird but hilarious! Sadly, my camera batteries were dead 🙁

Well,    when Cotton was a young un   he had gotten on my sewing machine table.   I wasn’t paying much mind to what he was doing up there.   Later when I went to sew  I saw he had taken the pins off my pincushion and chewed my threaded  thread in 2.   Had to restring the machine little rascal

Plus I was having trouble with my mouse sticking .   Cotton heard me fussing and decided to help.  He chewed the mouse cord in 2 .   I went to Kmart and got 1 for 1.75 no kidding.   2 left   it is not  ball one it is one of those light ones.

Cheddar flops pretty hard too and he has yet to roll over…almost though. That is pretty funny. He has also jumped on boxes and broken them since he’s a hefty boy.

I also believe in the pouting. Poopy ALWAYS pouts when she gets defeated by humans. Whenever my boyfriend and I pick her to to cuddle or groom her and then let her go, like clockwork, she will lay down defeated. It’s hilarious because she is the dominant one and hates when she can’t control a situation.

When Merry gets mad she likes to throw things – she has the same huge seagrass ball that I think we all have and when she tosses it she looks like she’s shooting a basket. She’s also done the classic fall over backwards thing – or fall on top of it and look like she’s auditioning for a circu

Banner’s just an awkward hyper baby bunny spaz – I love it when he eats something, does a partial binky to the water bowl, takes a sip, and then half binkies to the adjacent food bowl again.

Oh and this is cute and I think funny – I have very fine hair, and if it’s hanging down in front of me when I’m looking at Banner, he tries to eat it. He’ll stand up and try to take a nibble (and miss), then brush off his nose because it tickles him – and then just keeps doing it. I have to get a pic or video because it’s not that easy to explain. But hilarious, I promise!

Cainan, my silly girl Poopy is obsessed with my hair too. She loves when I’m with her on the ground and my hair is hanging down. She puts her head through it, sniffs, tries to eat it, and stands up to look too. It’s really endearing.

Bahahahah Dur Dur….That’s Kahlua!

She may just seem dulll….because she’s so cute and you know the blonde jokes….I had to question my assumption of dur….I got the teach and treat and Rupert will open up a treat and Kahlua gets it-that’s pretty crafty…making me rethink her ‘dur dur’ label lol

But what she does…stomps for no reason…all night. Doesn’t react appropriately to anyting, only follows Ruperts lead, gets frustrated with slinkies… you know..dur…

Lolli just had her first dumb moment. She flopped the other night. But she flopped so hard, she almost rolled over. I was watching tv so I didn’t see it all. But I looked over and her feet are thrashing and she makes it upright. It all happened in a few short seconds. But I could guess what she did, so I busted out laughing. I got a grumpy face. At least she doesn’t sulk when I laugh at her like Eddie did. LOL

She’s gained more weight because of stupid Kaytee brand timothy hay cubes that also contain alfalfa. So she’s rolly polly. I’m surprised she hasn’t done that before.

Ruby.     When she was young I had made a cage with  nic cubes.  It wasn’t very high.     It had her bowls n litterbox in it.   Ruby wanted to follow me so she took one of the nic cubes in her mouth and pushed it as she walked across the floor.   It drug all the bowls n litterbox too.   Was so funny.

When I had her with an xpen she would take one of the panels and push it and get out.  lol   she would make a space big enuf to fit thru.  If she couldn’t fit thru it she would keep pulling n pushing on it til she could fit thru

Checkers sometimes doesn’t look before binkying…he flings himself into a wall or a piece of furniture a every so often! It freaked me out the first couple of times but he just gets right back up.

LOL K in Va That’s so funny. Reminds me of when Eddie and Lolli binkied into each other. They started racing around, starting in opposite directions. So I knew it was only a matter of time before they ran into each other. lol

And apparently poor Lolli can’t flop anymore without rolling over. She almost rolled over again last night. She’s on a serious diet now.

The first time Basil flopped really hard like that I almost died I swear he went down so fast you would have thought he’d been shot! He does it all the time now but doesn’t roll right over just lies on his back with the legs in the air like an upended turtle!!!!!
