Last month when I trimmed Cottons nails he kept flipping himself over.  Hubby came to help.  Well Cotton flipped himself and went to take off.  Hubby grabbed his hind legs.  I kept screaming for him to let go let go..  HE let go. Fortunately Cotton didn’t get hurt.  HE was trying to run off while hubby had his  hind legs holding on.

OH gosh.  Last nite I did nails and he asked to help.  I said nooooo.   He does his best he just doesn’t know any better.

Eek, well he knows now I guess. It’s sometimes the first reaction to try grab them and hold on. I’ve grabbed Jersey round the middle during nail trimming escape episodes. I’m gentle but still feel bad and like I could could damage her organs or something. It’s difficult to over ride the determination to get the job done and just haul them back in. Better to let them ‘escape’, then get them back in a crafty manner – lol!

Hubby petted Cotton the nite I did his nail.  Cotton runs usualy but since I was holding him and petting himi he had to sit still.  Last nite i  noticed Cotton went up to smell his shoe on his foot and was looking to jump to the couch hubby was on   to say hi.

2 years old and knows hubby for 1 1/2 years and just now daring to get closer to hubby.  Gosh Cotton took long enuf.

Well hubby used to get scared and jump and shout due to being startled when Cotton would get near him with a happy jump.  Finally hubby is calming down FINALLY

Lucky his legs wernt hurt! Men are so dumb sometimes. Next time try burritoing him, and taking out his paws one at a time, it makes it easyer, but it my take treats to make him forgive you after! Shredded carrots work for my bunnys.

Cotton forgives very quickly fortunately   I do burrito him and he flips himself anyways.   Though it is easier to work with him in a burrito.  I have to pet his cheek and talk sweet to him for him to relax himself.

NO no more help from hubby.   HE didnt’ know anybetter but gosh gave me a big scare.
