In addition to Arduina’s broken front leg (see earlier post), I also have noticed she has been sneezing a little.  When I took her in for her surgery last week, I told the doctor this ‘under other problems’, but obviously she (and me too!) was more concerned about Arduina’s broken leg.  Yesterday we noticed that her nose is also a little bit wet too.  She doesn’t sneeze too often, I only hear her have a couple sneezes a day (in the same couple minute period). But now I am worried because I always here wet nose buns is not a good sign.  Not sure what that means though?  She has a doctors appointment next week for her broken leg.  I think I will call today though, and at least let her doctor know that she has a wet nose.   Could it be due to her cramped quarters? (She has to stay on bed rest for another week).  I give her carrierr a thorough cleaning and wash every other day complete with a fresh blanky.  Maybe I should do this every day?  She has been eating a ton and drinking a ton too, so her appitite is outstanding.

I don’t necessarily think that wet noses are a bad sign. I notice that my rabbit Emmy sometimes has a moist nose – it’s not all out wet and there is no discharge so I really don’t worry about it.

Changes in environment can cause sneezing in rabbits and in anyone for that matter.

Does she drink from a bowl – I find that sometimes my rabbits who drink from a bowl have a moist noise when I touch it too.

If there is discharge that is whitish or greenish that could be a cause for concern.
