hey everyone, i have two bonded bunnies and I saw this weird looking poop in their litter box I’m not sure who’s it from but it’s just the one the rest and normal. Also they are both eating normally and acting normally. My question is, should i be worried about their health, i have never seen like that red part come out of them before.

Are they molting? It looks like they could be strung together with some hair. Are the rest of the poops pretty normal looking? If their other poops are back to normal then I wouldn’t worry. Sometimes during a molt some poops can get strung together weirdly. If you start noticing more like this then something could be going on with their digestion.

Yes, it looks like beads on a string poop, which is typical of a rabbit that has been ingesting fur. This typically happens during molting. You can help the buns by brushing them, because they will obviously get fur in them when they groom each other. Rabbits always ingest some fur and their tummies deal with that, but during molting it can get to be too much fur to digest.

My bun Vilde once passed a string of poops 11 poops long. (He had a condition that caused his gut to slow from time to time).
