I took my rabbits to the vet for neutering last week. I went to the vet to take them home and saw that the vet put on a E-collar for the buns. She said that both buns were aggressive biter so they had to make them wear the collar. I took them home, buns were finally free from the collar but I noticed scale like patch on ones ears. It didn’t look like something serious and bun bun was doing okay, not minding it at all. I texted the vet about it, a day passed, still haven’t received a reply.

It doesn’t look serious, like a wound healing. Idk what it is.

I would guess the bald patch is where a canula was inserted for the surgery. Many vets prefer to place a line into the bun’s ear in case something happens during anaesthesia. My bun had to have blood drawn from his ear for a blood test, it resulted in a bald patch. The hair grew back just fine.
