I’m super excited because one our bunnies has made it as a finalist in the Petfinder Flash Photo contest. Her name is Marie and she’s the only bun, or small animal for that fact, on the finalist list. A little back-story on Marie, She is paralyzed from the waist down but is starting to regain some leg muscle. She gets time to run around in the wheelchair and time to rest without it. She’s fast when she gets her wheels and is a super sweet bun. She loves having her ears scratched.
I know there are lot of great deserving, rescues out there but we’re the only small animal (and especially rabbit) one in this round of the competiton. The money would most likely go towards vet bills or some other necessity. We’re have quite a few special needs bunnies and their care and vetting takes a lot of money. The prize is $500 grant for the rescue if we win.
