WoW! BB has grown like crazy in just a short time. I remember finding BB when it had just a small # of members and this has been the best forum! I think it has attracted so many people because it has been such a friendly place to ask questions and get help.

I have told Jennifer before but I don’t think she realizes how important BB has become to all of us. What would we do if BB went away?!!!

I think it is because people are helpful in a nice way.

 

I used to be on another rabbit forum that if you were new to rabbits and didn’t know much and asked a question like someone was told to use pine shavings people went off on him it was insane! So I like it because it is calm and nice no screeching at the newbies like me

I agree it’s because of the considerate way members treat each other and especially newbies.

I belonged to a guineapig forum that was scary. As a newbie I know I was asking some pretty dumb questions, but the replies I got ran me off pretty quick. It wasn’t so much that they were answering my question as the members were competing among themselves about who was going to come off as the most ‘expert’ expert and almost attacking me for being so stupid in the first place….lol

The way I found Binky bunny was I was looking for new toys for my bunny and I found the site by looking up “bunny toy Ideas” and I checked out the toy test section and the rest of the site, then I joined!

Definitely the best forum on the web for sure, I’m sure thats why people come here-also the website is so easy to use and information =It literally has anything you need to know, and cute pics, and you can get help 24/7 on the forum; I too tried two other forums before I found BB , one was UK based and ok, but it was a little clicquey (Sp?) and I couldn’t really get any responses or chat or anything. Another one took three weeks to approve my membership…yeahhhhhhh *Rolls eyes* I’m very happy I found this forum and so did THREE THOUSAND other people!! How cool!!

It’s great. I’ve been around enough to see it grow this last 1000. We all tend to chat on the boards, not sure if new members realise this. I have noticed on occasion people frustrated with chatroom as not many there to chat. – lol. More concerning though is I have come across some members posting questions regarding bunny health/behaviours in the chat room. Usually their questions are not addressed because of lack of traffic there . I don’t visit there that often but have seen this twice happen this month.

That aside, I agree, the community is wonderful !

After Quantum moved in, I went searching for bun forums.  This one was the friendliest-appearing, most helpful, full of good info and just, well, kind.  After reading many, many old posts, that first impression of friendliness has only been strengthened.  Thanks to all of you “old hands” (“old buns”???) for making this such a welcoming place.  And big thanks to Binky Bunny for making the forum possible.

Wow, over 3,000 members! I remember when BB was a small website with only a few members. How it has grown. I agree..it’s the BEST rabbit site on the web and I’m proud to be one of it’s earliest members, even though I don’t post much, I still read many of the threads. I remember I found this site looking for ANY info on my two lionheads I had just adopted. Congrats BB!

Wow! Thanks everyone!! That meant alot – more than you may know. I was just thinking today…what have i done with my life?!

i started BinkyBunny as another way to enjoy life. A place to think and educate about one of my favorite animals. It may not cure cancer or solve world hunger, but a little bit of fun while learning about one of the cutest animals on the planet sure feels good for the soul. My hope was that members would also respect each other and connect. I may have set-up a location but it is all of you that have created the tone of community that is caring and respectful…and tons of fun.   There have been very few negative incidents and i think that is due again to the tone that everyone has set.  

It is even better than what I hoped for.

So the real thanks goes to all of you!

Congrats BB! I remember being one of the first to post here when you were testing out the web site and we had zero members. It’s been a wonderful thing to see it stay as a constant. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
