My dwarf lop is 7 months old now and has been happily living in her nic grid cage, with a base made from laminate wood flooring, and her x-pen sits on just my normal vinyl flooring. but as its getting more wintery I was thinking of putting a blanket or something down so she has something to snuggle into if she wanted. Surprise, surprise, my little nibbler managed to chew a great big hole through it and there was a lot of it apparently missing. It’s been a while now, she went to vets as a precaution but she was fine…
My concern now is that il never be able to leave her unattended with any form of fabric in case she destroys it and ends up sick or worse from digesting it. I’m very envious of all the lovely habitats I see on here that have lots if lovely blankets for their buns to get comfy on- is mine the only one who sabotages her chances or do other peoples bunnies have a habit of doing this too?
If so, any advice for alternative ways of giving her some nice warm snuggly material that is actually bunny friendly/ safe?
