        Hey all.

As most of you know by now, my poor Cinder has had not so good news. The thing is that when I moved back home, I was forced to have a friend take care of her, since Cinder has had a naughty habit of chewing cushions, cables, etc. I want to spend time with her, but as a guy I couldn’t bear missing time with her, but I feel like it’s “weird” for a GUY to want to go visit his rabbit. In a weird way, she’s not really my pet anymore. So should I go over there and visit? I feel bad knowing she’s with my friends who take care of her (for the most part) but just feel like it would be strange for an adult to go see their wittle bunny wabbit, lol. They’re former bunny owners, so they know how it feels and I’m sure wouldn’t mind.

I’m confused. Why didn’t you just bunny proof the house rather than give her away? And if you have given her away, unless it’s for a pre-determined limited time frame then no, she technically isn’t your pet anymore.

It doesn’t matter that you’re male btw

Don’t worry about what anyone in your life may think of it. If you want to see her and her carers are good with that, do it.

Just ask yourself -are you likely to regret visiting her?
Would you be likely to regret not visiting her?

Agree with Jersey. If you want to visit her, and it’s okay with her new people, go for it. Doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks.

It was not a choice to either bunny proof the house. There is already another cat living here, so it was her over Cinder. I wish I had more of a say, but that’s the way it goes.

It’s OK if you want to visit your pet. It just means that you emotionally attached to Cinder, nothing more. In my opinion, this feeling isn’t labeled as something shameful for any person. As LittlePuffyTail said, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. But it is matter, what do you feel about this.
Also you’ve mentioned that she belongs to your friend now. Ask him/her if it would be OK to visit them both.
