I am thinking about throwing some over the carpet in Tonk’s room so she will not pee on the carpet.  What if she chews on the edges and I know she will. Will it hurt her ingest this?? Even if I cover it with rugs I know how determined she gets she’ll be throwing them around to get to the edges!! Anyway…. any ideas?

can you make a wood frame that would sit just inside the room all along the edges? it would provide an acceptable chewing surface and she will not be able to get at the corners.

i’m thinking if you can’t find a suitable solution, you might consider moving her to an xpen or NIC condo permanently.

Though many bunnies chew the sides and spit out the pieces, it would be harmful for tonks if she ended up digesting too much of that. Beka’s suggestion of getting an xpen is good because you can make it so that the edges are on the outside of the xpen.

I know this is a pain right now, but until she can get her litterbox habits back, this may need to be at least a temporary solution.
