Cookie’s tummy is gurgling. It was gurgling Monday too, but I stopped giving her kale and gave some simethicone and it subsided and she seemed fine. Until today. I came home and let her out but she didn’t seem interested and I could hear loud gurgling. It eventually went away and then it is now coming back in short bursts. She is on the steps right now and she has never been there before, and she isn’t really moving. She is not hunched but she does seem scared and definitely not her usual self. The gurgling is very loud and its a lot more often now. I am very worried. What do I do?

You should rush her to a vet as soon as possible. I dont know what may be wrong but better safe than sorry!

She is eating hay and drinking water right now, and she seems fine (I did give her a little simethicone), but I think I should still take her. Just one problem – we’re going on a trip tonight, just for one night. I am checking to postpone it and it may happen but my parents aren’t sure. I am really pushing them so I don’t know right now but I hope I can make it to the vet. I wanted to give her a tummy massage but she’s never been a very cuddly bunny and she hops away if I touch her. Should I still attempt to do this or should I just wait it out? If we do go on the trip, we will be back by 2 tomorrow (it’s 5:02 pm now). The vet will not be open but we can go to the emergency one so I will try my best. If I don’t make it to the vet tonight, will it be okay. I just want the best for her so I will do anything.

So we came back pretty late as it took a while to do the x rays but thankfully Cookie is all fine and healthy, it was just some gas, not stasis. I will stop giving her kale and cut back on the pellets and that should keep her good. I am with Cookie right now and she is doing zoomies and binkies all over. Thank you so much!
