        Hi all,

I’ve been away for a while (a very long while lol), but life has just been so busy, everything has just been flying by.

Several cases of RHDV-2 have been popping up in Ontario. I haven’t heard of any in my city, but there have been some in nearby cities. What I’m wondering is if I should stop feeding greens. I don’t know how the buns would respond to that, they love their greens very much. The vaccine is not yet available here, but my vet is working on getting that in. Should I stop veggies until they’re vaccinated?

I switched over to oxbow hay a while ago, as the bunnies are quite picky when it comes to hay, and there was too much variation in the farm stuff, so I don’t think there’s a concern there?

        Thanks guys

          No concern with Oxbow hay.

Are the veggies at the store sourced locally? If they come from an area not affected by the outbreak, then you should be OK. To be safe, you would want to make sure you know where they are being grown.

I try to get locally sourced as much as I can. Should I stick to locally sourced veggies and only stop if there’s an outbreak in my area?

They say to assume that the disease is present within 150 miles of an outbreak.
