Just wondering—Is the vitamin for rabbits supposed to be limited or is it okay to give lots of veggie full of vitamin A? The list said give those w/ vitamin A once a day…so I just wanted to clarify.

Also, just got some Bok Choy for Boston–do you feed the whole thing or just the leafy part?

You can give the whole Bok Choy to the bunnies. Did you get the baby bok choy or regular bok choy? I get the baby bok choy since I can also eat them too. I put it in stir fry.

As far as vitamins, some of the veggies have to be limited; like spinach. And some, it’s good to give everyday; like parsley.

I feed baby bok choy and my kids love the whole thing. vitamin a is good for bunnies – so you want to feed at least one of those veggies a day.
The binkybunny veggie list indicates which veggies are high in vitamin A

I think you should not overfeed Vitamin A and give them just one veg with Vitamin A.  Was that your question?  I could be wrong but that’s what I think I’ve read.

Thanks for asking allenj1  , i was wondering the same thing .  I stared at that sentence for 20 mins the other day wondering if i should feed more or less. It is a little confusing.

I tried to feed my buns bok choy the other day and they wouldn’t touch it. Maybe i’ll try baby bok choy next.

we had a thread on this awhile back, and i don’t even remember what the conclusion was. i think as long as you’re feeding a good variety, and nothing too high in calcium.

Yes Knowltons, that was my question!!! Haha glad you figured out my lingo! Yes that sentence was confusing about whether to feed more or less! All the veggies Boston loves have vitamin A—parsley, broccoli, romaine…hmmm…I’ll have to revamp
