I rotate Finn on Timothy hay, oat hay, botanical hay, and orchard grass (all oxbow) so every day he gets something different. I have so alfalfa hay I picked up for Lil Buns and I was wondering if I could put that into his rotation? I know it isn’t “good” for him, but once every 5 days shouldn’t be bad, right?

also he’s not the biggest fan of the oat hay or orchard grass, lol. pickyyyy.

Alfalfa for an adult should be more of a treat, so a handful or so mixed in every so often to his normal hay wouldn’t hurt. I wouldn’t let him free eat it one day a week though.
