Hayward Animal Services only has room for 4 rabbits, but right now they have 8, and these rabbits need to be adopted quickly to be safe.
The new bunnies don’t have names yet (and there is an additional rabbit not pictured here):

She has BLUE eyes! So gorgeous, and rare!

Doc: Doc is a gentle giant. All he wants is to be petted in your lap and cuddled – that’s what he lives for. He’s a mellow bunny, likes to hang out in the litterbox, and lives for sitting on laps. Maybe your lap has been feeling a little empty? Doc may be in a foster home – call or visit the shelter to arrange to meet him!

Huey: Huey, left, was found abandoned outside the animal shelter. It was by sheer luck they were found by a staff member before harm, or worse, befell them. Huey must have been loved and handled a by a gentle human before being abandoned because this cute as a button young boy is very friendly with people. Huey is VERY energetic and playful, and loves all other animals! He would likely do well in a home with a gentle dog or cats. Come and see Huey (A069910) at the Hayward Animal Shelter.

Kiwi: Kiwi is a young, playful, friendly little soul. He is very calm, and, unlike many rabbits, Kiwi loves to be held. He is a little scared of dogs, so a home without dogs would be a better fit for him. He was the favorite at a recent rabbit adoption event, and loved to be cuddled by everyone who visited. Come and see Kiwi (A069753) at the Hayward Animal Shelter.
If you’ve been thinking about adopting a rabbit, now is the time! Just in time to have a happy Valentine’s day with your new fluffy sweetie, too!
The adoption fee for a rabbit at Hayward Animal Services is $50. Rabbits are spayed/neutered before coming home with you. For the final adoption to occur, all members of the household will need to meet the potential new addition to your family.
