If you remember, I’m caring for two baby bunnies. They have opend their eyes now. They are quite furry and fuzzy too.  I tried to take some pictures but they wont sit still.  They keep hopping around all over the place and wont sit still.

They are grooming themselves already and started to eat some hay as well.  They are not fond of pellets yet.  Because they are mobile now, they just kinda hop around their cage and fall asleep wherever. I was worried that they might get cold sleeping outside their nest, but I guess that’s okay since they have fur now and can maintain its body temperature.  I have a thermometer in my room and always keep the room temperature above 70 degrees.

I think I’m doing everything okay now. Yes? No?

Great going, and thanks for caring for these little ones!  If you are interested, The Rabbit Haven will be at For Other Living Things in Sunnyvale on April 5.  We’ll be there from 11 Am to 4 PM, so if you want to bring the babies in and have someone check them over, we’ll be there.
