I’m using untreated pine wood in my rabbits 2 story cage and was wondering if it was safe for rabbits.Im really confused is it safe,I used it as the floors of the cage so the bottom floors top is untreated pine wood.I don’t want to put my bunnies in any kind of danger.
Would appreciate if anyone helped me out

Untreated pine is just fine. The pine in solid form is safe and lengths of wood sold for building projects is normally kiln-dried also. It’s the shavings and chips that release the aromatic oils too readily and can cause some health issues for rabbits.

It won’t hurt them if they chew on it.
