My bunny, (lionhead) named Snowy is running around my feet in circles, following me and grooming me when I pet him to his standards. I don’t want to neuter him, but I will if necessary to stop the behavior. He is 3, almost 4 and I’m afraid to get him neutered because people say it’s not very good to neuter bunnies later in life. If I am sitting down, he will start scratching at my chair and standing up for me to pick him up (which he is EXTREMELY good with as he trusts me heavily) Then, he’ll jump down and run into his cage to lay down like he’s lost interest. Then he’ll come out again for the cycle to repeat. He’s being a very confusing bunny. Once on the chair he will crawl behind my back and lay there. Can someone help me interpret this behavior? I believe it has something to do with courting, but I’m not sure. Just need confirmation and if not correction.

He is acting amorous, as you suspect. Circling is usually them preparing to mount. Neutering should help. Most vets will neuter males as old as 6, and my vet has neutered males as old as 9, so as long as you find a rabbit savvy vet you should be fine.
