        Hey guys

for the last couple of days I have noticed occassionally that Lilly’s right eyelid seems to be twitching.  Much like mine when i’m stressed at work! it seems to come and go, lasting a minute or two, maybe once or twice a day i’ve seen it.

Bit concerned, but will keep an eye on her. she is eating, etc perfect, and behaving normally (still over begging for brocolli!!)  she will be 4 in July.

        Any thoughts/ideas much appreciated – I’m a major worrier?!!!!!!

Huh…I’ve never heard of anything like that. Is it for sure just one eye? If it’s both you may just be noticing it and being careful but if it’s one that *could* be something. Watch her like you are, and watch for discharge or clouding of the eye-or if she seems to be scratching at it or trying more then usual to clean it.

Is their a chance you can take her in a well lit room and take a good look at the eye-in case their is something in there like dust or hair? It might be an irritant that’s failed to wash out of the eye?

Well, this is definitely not a norm in the sense that not many bunny owners experience this with their bunnies. If it were happening to one of my bunnies, I would just call my vet and ask about it, and then my vet would either tell me it’s normal or to come in.

            Keep us updated.

By twitching you mean back and forth (sorry im from Portugal sometimes i dont understand very well)???If its so ive only seen it/heard about it in cases of Head Tilt so thats pretty weird, either way you really should go to a Vet since those symptons usually have something to do with neurological stuff… better go just in case hopefully its nothing.

Is it still twitching? My first guess would be that there was something in the eye that bun was trying to work out. Let us know how she is now…

Hmmm, i have tried watching for it today, dont seem to see it. I just picked her up and gave it a look, and a feel around her eye. Think she must have had something in it bothering her indeed.
Thanks for the messages. will keep an eye on her still tho.
