        First I want to apologize if there’s any spelling mistakes, I’m currently using a tablet. I also apologize if this isn’t the place for this question. Anyway I made a toy for Thumper and Blossom out of twine since I heard that twine was safe for rabbits but my parents asked if it was actually safe and I tried finding the source for the information on it but now I can’t find it.

          Depends on the twine.  We use untreated Jute and Sisal, and we sell untreated Sea Grass Twine.  So that would make it safe.

          What kind of twine is it and where’d you get it?

            @BB Administrator:

            Thanks for the quick reply! I honestly don’t know what kind it is, no one told me when they gave it to me. It’s YEARS old, over 10 I do believe and I my dad got it from Tractor Supply. I looked at some pictures and it looks kind of close to Sisal; I have a link to a picture of some twine that looks exactly like it. Hopefully it works; –> https://search.yahoo.com/search?p=kinds+of+twine&fr=yfp-hrtab&fr2=p%3Afp%2Cm%3Asb&.tsrc=yfp-hrtab&fp=1&toggle=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8

              Sorry the link went weird, tablets aren’t good for that. X’D Anyway the link should be copied and work correctly now since I’m on a computer. –> https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SISAL-natural-rope-string-twine-4-types-you-choose-sinze-and-length-NOT-BALL-/131349692349?var=&hash=item1e950d3fbd:m:mo9hjaqqtRx9HuVHRaLPfYw

                There is no way for me to say for sure what you have is Sisal and if it is safe. But IF it is Sisal, then usually it is safe, but I also don’t know if was treated, coated or anything else. I did check the brand Koch Sisal twine from Tractor Supply, which you said is where your dad may have got it, and usually it is labeled as “natural” and only sisal (not mixed in with other material to make stronger). So typically that would be okay, but again—- there is obviously no way for me to know for sure. It’s cheap enough that you could just purchase something you feel more confident about.

                And way to go “parents” for questioning that. Usually it’s the kids trying to tell their parents what’s what. Nice to know your folks are watching out for things.

                  Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for all your help! I didn’t think the picture would really help but hey you never know right? I’ll look into getting what we actually know is 100% safe.
