        Silly questions!!

Where can I get the twine to tie up the goody bags?? Also I was trying to cut a door into a plastic storage container and scissor and a knife is not working. Any ideas??

Twine – A good safe chewing twine is Sisal and you can get that usually at a hardware store. I don’t know if you have a Big Lots near you, but I always find stuff there in the hardware section.

Plastic storage container cutter: We used a utility knife – it’s like a heavy duty exacto knife. It’s best to use a hook blade. But you have to be VERY VERY careful! It’s easy for your hand to slip as it’s still a bit tough. So really be so careful with that!

I would like to add that when you get the sisal/twine, make sure you smell it before purchasing !  Sometimes they are “treated” with oil/s which aren’t good for your buns to chew on/ingest.  I’ve been making toys for my parrots for a very long time and the protocols I use for them are the same I use for my buns……..so if the rope has an oily “petroleum” smell……don’t buy it !!!

You can also use raffia to close up treat bags.  it is quite strong, and safe for bunnies to chew.  You can get it at craft and sewing stores.
