        Hi everyone,

Last year I bought an outdoor hutch for my Flemish Giant and French Lop. Since it was rather small, I attached a run.
Their housing now is 5 meters long, 1 meter deep and 90cm in height. Sounds pretty good…but the quality is just terrible.
        Thin wood, loose part etc.

So it’s time for a new one. And I’m afraid I would have to build it myself since I can’t seem to find a high quality and big hutch anywhere.

What I was wondering about, is it possible to use stone?
I have a wall in my garden where I would like to attach the hutch to. This means one inside wall will be made of stone instead of wood.
Will this be a problem? I can imagine stone will be a lot colder than wood in wintertime. But the house will be quite big, so they don’t have to lie against the wall.

I hope someone can give me some advice on this.

        Thanx!

Most members here house their rabbits inside, we don’t recommend keeping them outside for different reasons. Have you considered taking them indoors? It has many advantages.
