I really want to teach my bunny some simple tricks, so far I can get him to pick the correct closed hand with the treat in and get him to stand for a treat, but is there any tips for teaching things like jumping and spinning?

When you taught him how to pick the hand with the treat in it, how did you teach him not to nibble off your fingers ? I haven’t tried it but I know other members have used clicker training successfully. There’s even some you can buy from the BB store .

Luna’s right, look up clicker training for your rabbit. You basically make a sound (with a training clicker or a clicking pen) and offer a treat. Each time you make the click, you give the rabbit a treat. Over time, usually a few days or weeks, your rabbit will make the connection and know every time they hear that sound they will get something. You can then use that to your advantage to train tricks.

Like spin, for instance. Once your rabbit it trained to know what the click means you can lead them around in a circle with a treat as bait. Say “spin” as you do it. Once they make a full rotation, click and give them the treat. Keep doing this every day. After a while, your rabbit will start spinning when you gesture or say “spin” automatically. It takes time and you have to be consistent but it is possible. Lots of videos online. Good luck!
