So I’ve posted a lot and I am semi new at all this so I have a topic to discuss.

My two boys are not so interested in store bought  wood blocks. I tried bananas and they aren’t that interested. Oranges, carrots, and oats are the only treat they seem to like. Is that weird ? They dont even like those apple wood sticks. They seem to have nippled at them but hardly!!

Oh i almost forgot I made them treat cookies. Which was made of shredded carrots, mashed bananas, and oats. Baked until golden brown and cooled. I gave them one split in half every other day and they seemed to like those for about a week then stopped eating them!?

its ok. most rabbits don’t like store bought wood treats. they flat out taste like poo. if they even are treats if they like oranges, carrots, and oats, they sound fine. usually bun’s love banana. check to make sure they don’t have teeth problems-their teeth aren’t too long or curled or any thing. drooling is also a sign of this. have they tried other treats like blueberries, apple(a smash hit w/ my bun, buttons) or strawberries. oh yea-can you please give me your feeding schedule, if you dont mind. i can give you tips. diet’s are my specialty.

maybe they decided they just didn’t want cookies anymore- rabbits sure are funny creatures.

and i must tell you, they are adorable-especially the orangie/white one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he is adorable as well but  blackjack has much softer fur! My boyfriend always says blackjack is his ( because he named him) and thump is mine.

            Uh feeding schedule?

I hope this doesn’t sound too bad but they have a large bin of hay and sweet grass mixed that i fill every morning or as need and they get about a cup of pellets in the morning which usually last through out the day and sometimes more than a day. around lunch(1 or 2 pm) I give them a bunch of greens including clover leafs (they love these), spinach and lettuces ( no iceburg!!) they also usually have a carrot (split in half) each day.

sounds good. you could probably take the carrots to 3x a week though because they are so sugary.  overall, you’ve got a quite healthful diet!

Do you grow any of these? I was thinking of trying to cut down a tad on cost. What are you thoughts?

                        Your cuties sound fine.
I just wanted to suggest they might like a raisin or a craisin. They’re small so one is a good treat without being too fattening.

maybe they stopped eating the homemade treats after a week since there were no preservatives in them and the taste became off???

My bunnies love Craisins – I don’t feed rasins since those are toxic to dogs- but Craisins are OK for both bunnies and dogs.

I also feed the Oxbow Barley Biscuits which I just got and are a huge hit with Cotton and Schrodie!  They also love the APD cookies too.  And I also give OxbowPapaya tablets as a treat too.

And my 2 bunnies love, love, love apple branches- they chew all of the bark off by the next day!

nocturnal” poop – what if the bun doesn’t eat it. Does that mean he is sick ?

the funny looking poo? actually sometimes my bun doesn’t eat his but most the time he does. i do not think it is a problem you should worry about.
