So Frankie loses interest quicky with anything that’s not edible. Anyone else with picky bunnies have a suggestion as to what toys are good for picky bunnies?

Meadow will ignore anything that’s not edible or shredible. willow, cardboard anything, phone books, grass balls are her favorites. plastic toys, balls, rattles, no.

Hmm, I’d like to hear the answer to this one, since Perry ignores anything that might ever have been designated as a toy.

What about toys that are play places too? I make cardboard condo’s, buy cat condos, cat play things, tunnels; Dave recently made me a two story tupperware type play place….That might work for Frankie

Mine have been enjoying the old paper sack filled with hay trick the last few weeks.  I fill a brown paper sack (basically a lunch bag) with oat hay, tie the top with raffia, and then tear a small hole in the bottom so that they can get a good smell of the oats inside.  They go nuts, digging, flinging, tearing at it until they shred it entirely.  It is pretty messy, but fun.

MY BUNNIES LIKE ANYTHING THAT JINGLES OR MAKES LOUD NOISES WHEN THEY TOUCH IT. PLASTIC  BALLS W/BELLS AND RATTLE TYPE TOYS. I ALSO PUT SOME PEICES OF SCRAP FABRIC IN THE CORNER OF THEIR CAGE AND THEY LOVE DIGGING IN IT. IT’S ALSO EASY TO CLEAN TOO   BUT, WHEN I GO IN THERE TO REARANGE THE FABRIC, FLUFF GROWLS AT ME  LOL

K&K, do you have a picture of the plaything Dave made? It sounds interesting

I second that request– I’m trying to imagine a 2 story house made out of tupperware containers and it just isn’t working. How’d he keep them together?

My buns are pretty fussy with toys too. Stormy likes to throw baby rattles around but I think it’s more of an “I’m mad” thing than actually playing. Bindi loves boxes and that’s pretty much it. Olivia has a little stuffed baby’s bear that she loves to toss around and snuggle with (he always ends up in the litter box for some reason). I have a whole laundry basket full of toys that they decided they don’t like. Spoiled brats
