So, this has absolutely nothing to do with buns, but I figured some of you might be able to help me!

I’m a Florida girl, it’s 80 degrees today (I’m wearing a tank top and skirt right now..), but tomorrow I’m flying to Minnesota for a wedding.. yipes! And, I have no clue how to dress for a Minnesota wedding in December. Any ideas? I thought some of you northern chicks could help me out

A dress and tights? Boots? Heels? Pants? Argh.

        Help!!

usually winter wear is heavier material & longer sleeves but i think anything goes for weddings.  if you have a lighter fabric dress you can add a layer underneath… say, a nice shimmery long sleeve lightweight knit .  or if you have a skirt / dress pants you could pair it with a long sleeved blouse or sweater.  for footwear nice tall boots are pretty stylin right now with dresses skirts or skinny pants, or you could wear closed toe shoes too.  i’m assuming you have a jacket to wear… i think you’ll need it in minnesota… brrrr…. thats even further north than me!

I agree. We’ve had some snow here and it has been cold! I would opt for a longer wool skirt with some stylish yet winter friendly boots, non-turtleneck top and a nice jacket. I would skip the turtleneck style because it may get warm in the church and at the reception, that way if it does you can lose a layer with the jacket and still be comfortable and not all sweaty and uncomfortable.

You may have already left but…………………… I’m in MN and although it’s real cold… the wedding should be warm
Jacket… knee high boots are acceptable…. but like a skirt/sweater set is great… Although running from the warm car to the warm church to the warm car to the warm reception is probably your best plan.

Yeh, wear those thick tights if you are wearing a dress….Hopefully the reception and everything is inside…And if you don’t smoke there is no reason to go outside, and you can just beeline inside and stay toasty!!
