Lola, lop, 4-4.5 pounds, little under 6 years old, not spayed, free roam.

Currently eating, pooping, and acting like normal. No other health issues and hasn’t had any for years.
It’s like a crater wound a little less that an inch big that goes through on one little bit as big as a rabbit bite maybe a cm more. It is not bleeding and is 60 hours old at this point. Doesnt seem to hurt as she’s letting me touch it and mess with her ears like on any normal day.

I put a little warm water and iodine mix on it and will get some neosporin tomorrow (it’s late and everything is closed). Anything else I can do? Like maybe a better way to disinfect it as that is my main concern. The nearest vet that actually knows rabbits is a few hours away and Lola gets extremely extremely stressed in the car so I don’t know how worth it that is. We are definitely past the reattachment point.
I am not too worried about a small hole in her ear as we don’t have any sharp objects she can catch it on in the future around the house and her nails are well clipped. She’s usually constantly supervised checked on every hour and a half at most. Also checked on every 2-3 hours during the night. If needed I could put a small, light patch on it when it heals up that’s replaced once a day just to be safe about getting caught and possible tearing more.

context: I was out of the house for 5 days with my mother to watch over her. She ignored everything I said and let our other 1 year old female rabbit onyx out that plays outside during the day and comes back into a big hutch at night. She attacked Lola. My mother didn’t say a word to me and didn’t do anything to help Lola. I just got back home. (Now I know to never leave again)

If needed I’ll get some photos in an hour or so she’s sleeping under a table and I don’t want to bother her too much. (Already had my freak out waking her up when I saw the wound an hour or so ago)

(I haven’t been on here in a long time so if this shouldn’t be here or something let me know)

          How is she doing now?

Yes, keep it clean and dry, Neosporin should be good for infection.

I’m sorry no one replied to this right away! Yes, how is she doing now?
