  We had a very arduous journey bonding our rabbits Ciabatta and Benjamin. After ten long months it has finally happened! They snuggle, groom and spend every second next to each other. It’s wonderful.
  
  I know a lot of the bonding dance is establishing who is top bunny. And I’m so intrigued to know who won! Because they each do a little of what a top bunny does. Benjamin mounts/humps Chi Chi and she submits, but Chi Chi gets all the grooming. She sticks her head under his constantly and gets lengthy tongue baths in return. She rarely reciprocates. Also, they are both fixed of course.
  
  So who do you think is top bunny?

  I have this dilemma with my pair as well, I’ve had them almost 8 months and for about 6 months, Luna would on occasion mount Apollo. But Apollo also chases Luna to nip her butt and he gets 95% of the grooming. However in the past 2 months Luna has seemed to have stopped mounting, so I think maybe Apollo won as top bun, but it could also mean that Luna cemented her dominance and doesn’t need to mount anymore.
