So my buns currently aren’t bonded (work in progress, been trying for over 6 months now) but one of my buns is honestly a nightmare. So we have both buns in the same room, with their cages beside eachother so they can see and interact with each other, doing litter switches and all the rest. We let one bun out at a time to exercise in our front room As my female will attack my male. My male doesn’t generally react to my female being near her cage, while my female is territorial when my male goes near her cage. This isn’t the issue. The issue is the female constantly going to the toilet in front of his cage, mainly infront of the door into his cage. Like every 5 mins there’s a new pile of poo and a wet patch. I’ve tried putting white vinegar down, and when I clean the urine stains out with carpet cleaner she’s redone it in less than a day. Its infuriating and my living room stinks of pee. Is there anything else I can do to stop her? And does this behaviour suggest that she may not be spayed? We never got a definitive answer from the place we adopted from, she was definitely spayed when we rang up about her and then that turned into a maybe after we adopted her. Or is it just immaturity? She’s litter trained in her cage, but just can’t help herself when she’s beside him
