You will need a litterbox, food and water bowl. I actually buy mine at michaels craft store you buy them in the craft section they are considered to be candy dishes they are perfect for rabbits and are about $1.00 which are cheaper then. Brush to groom your rabbit. Hidey house (nest box) it can be a cardboard box with 2 wholes cut into the side of it. Toys, rabbit safe ones, straw mats. A carrier for when you take your bunny to the vet. You can decided if you will let him run around where you will let him run around you will need to bunny proof the area. Hope this helps!

I’ve had many different pets as well, from pet goat to a parrot but my girls are the funniest most entertaining little creatures ever. so independent for being so dependent. I spend everyevening in the rec room with them running around and making havock but they still treat me with great indifference most the time.

I’ve found rather than buying litter it is a lot cheaper to just line the litterbox with newspaper and then put hay on top, bunnies love to sit in there and eat the hay all day! in fact my bunny gets moody and starts thrashing about his cage if he thinks there isnt enough fresh hay in his litter tray and demands it be refilled
Also for cleaning i use a mixture of white vinegar and water so i find its always handy to have vinegar handy, cleans trays/cages perfectly and unlike a lot of commercial cleaners is completely bun safe ( i keep a mixture of 1/3 vinager 2/3 water in a spray bottle)

also if you havnt already it’s a good idea to research what vets in your area have a good knowledge of rabbits as not all vets know a lot about bunnies! maybe ask the breeder/shelter you are getting your bun from if its local who they use?
