That’s so funny. Those sneaky fuzz balls… Layla ate through one of my graduate school applications to get to an apple in the bag that I forgot existed. Ha. Too cute.

If you turn the apple around you can just decipher the words “Nah Nah” gouged out.  Here’s the culprit (phone pic)  coming out of a sugar coma.  If you’re wondering where her front paws are, they’re handcuffed behind her back.

haha, sugar coma, too funny. Thats what Layla did when she got into a whole lot of my apples & sampled them all. Poor thing ran around like crazy for 10 mins and then passed out for the rest of the day… glycemic shock or something.

Well it seems there is a Part 2 to add.

I had left the apple where I found it.  Thought I’d show my sister later in the day.  I’d tucked in the chairs so Ratbag could not get up there again. Pretty certain she jumps onto chair and then up onto table.   Later that evening I hear a clunk.  Go to investigate only to find she had it again.  She’d brought it to the hallway between kitchen and room we were in.  As if she was bringing it to show me.  I took it away, thankful she had not eaten much more.

Then, as I was getting ready to retire, I discover………another half eaten apple on the floor!  I swear it was not there earlier.  How on Earth?  She’d eaten one side down to the core.  I was afraid she may have eaten a seed also.  She’d even tried bite into a lemon!   She hasn’t shown any ill signs from seed or sugar.  I hope this remains the case. 

Too cunning by far, and certainly more so than her owner!  I have further bunny proofed the room.  Now that she’s 1yr old, I was enjoying her more mellow ways and gladly saying goodbye to her adolescence.  Yesterday threw that mindset out the window.  Of course, just ten minutes ago, she’s up on the table again!   Bunny proofing is not foolproof!  So here’s the evidence of her productive day.  (Now carefully disposed of!) She has definately used up her treat quota for the next month!

Hahaha!!! So funny. Yeah buns can be very determined critters. Benny lickly has never learnt to jump up onto my kitchen benches, but he has got into my kitchen cupboard once and scattered rice all over the floor!! Bessy a bun i had a few years ago could jump up onto the kitchen bench, luckly6 i didn’t have much in the way of food on there.

Ratbag?? LMAO! xD When I first got my smallest cat, he was always Ratboy to my husband (mostly because he hadn’t wanted to get another animal). OMG that brings back memories! ^_^
