Tobys poops have been much smaller and darker lately and they stink so much!! They’re stinking up the room it’s so bad. What could this be ? I’m feeding her normally , not really any changes just veggies, pellets, and hay.. it’s so weird

Also, no change in behavior. She’s still exactly the same and pooping a lot! So yeah idk

How much of each do you feed her? Now that she’s hormonal her poo will likely smell bad until she’s spayed.

Literally the same thing is happening to me! Boos  poops were great for a while, nice and big. But a couple days ago she started pooping the smaller darker poops. Sometimes she even makes a weird deformed mix of both a normal stool and a cecotropes. I haven’t changed her diet at all though. I started cutting back on the pellets since that is normally the cause.

I feed her 2 leaves of romaine about twice a day (the big leaves from the romaine hearts) which is about a handful and a half. I feed her a small handful of pellets about twice a day also. And hay 24/7

Keep up the hay. Darker poop is common in the summer, buns drink more and greens are juicier. Even wild bunny poop is darker this time of year.

Size is primarily about fiber, so the best things for that is hay and fresh grass (if you can get pesticide-free grass that raccoons haven’t had access too). Fresh grass will still keep the poop dark though, because it has moisture.

The smell is typical of intact buns that have hit puberty. It can smell very strongly of onions. Rabbit poopmarks as well as peemark, their poop is an important means of conveying information to other bunnies (even if there are no actual other bunnies, the instinct still remains).

O/T, but you know you’re a bunny fan when you’re walking in your yard and you can spot the wild bunny poop and how well they’re doing by the look of it.  And you’re happy for them.
