        Hi all,

Just was wondering if there are any tick repellents for bunnies?
i just found a few ticks on my bunny, and wanted to know how to prevent further issues.

        Thanks

Revolution might work. However, rabbits metabolize it faster than other animals so it may not be effective against ticks for very long.

Agree about Revolution being the main one.

You could also ask your vet about Vectra 3d. (http://www.vgr1.com/vectra3d/)

It’s an off label use in rabbits that is not was widely used. The main vet for our rescue has been using it on the shelter rabbits for years with no ill effects. But it should definitely be dosed by your vet because there is a risk of chemical burns if not done at the correct concentration. And this was used in an area with Myxomatosis, so the risks of Myxo outweighed the potential risks of the product in that case.
