I know that stomping is a sign of anger or warning…but I’ve only seen Opal do it once.  Today when I got home, she did it 6 times!  Does this mean she was really really angry? Can stomping mean something else?  I’ve never seen a bunny stomp/thump so much!!

She’s letting me pet her and glanding my laptop as we speak, so all is well now, but I’m just curious if anyone had any other insight on stomping/thumping

Thumping can also signal fear. Perhaps you startled her a bit when you came home. ??? Or she could have just been warning you or whoever of something and she only knows what that something is.

Some bunnies can be very…vocal…about their displeasure, thumping all the time about this and that. lol I would just keep an eye on her. As long as she’s not hiding and looking terrified for a long time, she’s fine. Have you had her for very long? If you haven’t, you’ll learn all about her behaviors and be able to distinguish between them in time.

Yes, it’s predominantly a fear/warning instinct. She might have got startled for some reason. When it’s from when they’re peeved, it’s not normally as many thumps in a row (in my experience).

thanks guys! good to know! I must have startled her. She’s fine now. I’ve only had her for a month and a half ish I guess. So I guess I’m still just learning her bunny-talk.
