  Last Saturday I adopted my first rabbit who had been in the animal shelter for almost 2 years. They said he was litter trained but up until yesterday he was going everywhere BUT in the litterbox (a corner box). I noticed he was going in one spot, but even when I moved the litter box there he still didn’t use it. So, as a last resort, I bought a cat litter box with some CareFresh litter. And FIRST CHEER….Hatter used the litter box! With that I decided to let him have his first adventure out of his pen to spend family time in the living room. SECOND CHEER…he did a mini binky and then flopped down. And THIRD CHEER…he came and nudged my foot before returning to his pen for the evening. I’m so proud of Hatter and the progress he is making.

  alright Hatter this is good news indeed Some rabbits are picky about the type of litter you use.

  He is more than likely marking his new territory – but that is great that he is starting to use the litter box!
  And binkeys – totally something to cheer about!!
