I’m trying to round Gabby up so I can go to bed. She realizes it’s bed time and doesn’t want to go into the laundry room. So, I procede to walk behind her down the hallway so I can get her to turn around and come back down the other way. She gets behind my rolling laundry cart and I hear a loud bang. I’m thinking she ran into the wall since she was trying to hop away from me. Then she gets on one of our chairs and it sounds like she hit the wall again and she’s not where she could have. Then she hops behind the recliner and I hear the loud bang like she ran into the wall again.

I’m such a dork. It then dawns on me she is thumping in disapproval for the first time since being here. I’m thinking I’m causing her to panic and hit walls and she’s getting onto mama instead.

          LOL It happens.

When I first got Eddie and he did his first binky, I seriously thought he had brain damage or something. I got him from Petco and it was very probable that he was a bunny mill bunny. So I was expecting all these possible inbred problems. lol I thought he had dropped dead when he flopped the first time. One second he was sitting there, the next he was on his side not moving. And I didn’t know what the hell his growling was. I thought he had some respiratory illness. LOL OOHHHHH….and I took him to the vet for no reason because I thought he wasn’t eating his pellets. I thought he had teeth problems and hauled him off to the vet just so the vet and vet assistant could look at me like I was nuts and tell me his teeth were perfect. LOL So yeah, it happens.

Those little back feet can sound like firecrackers when they thump. It’s really astonishing. With Samantha, it was like the smaller she was as a vulnerable female, the louder the thumps, growling and posturing. It’s actually pretty cute, in a tempermental, diva sort of way.

LOL. When I herd a thump for the first time I thought Lulu got her nails stuck in the carpet and made a weird thump noise. LOL
