        Ok, so as I posted before, layla is going to get spayed…but until then that doesn’t stop the royal highness from peeing EVERYWHERE! couch, bed, JEANS! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!! I am feeling so frustrated!!!!!! whew! so, how do i get the stains out? so far I have put vinegar and bicarb soda on it….the vet said dry detergent powder…ive heard whipping up some detergent powder nd water and using  the foam…is it OCD if i do all of them??? all i can say is layla is lucky she is so darn cute!!!!

          i just bung mine in a hot wash in the washing machine, seems to always work for me.

              ohh well i would rub some bi-carb in there and leave it a while. then remove it with a hot damp cloth if there is still a slight smell you could spray something like fabreeze (dunno do u guys get that over there?) onto it.

                Stains out of the mattress? Do you have a shop vaccum?? You can just dump water on the spot and vaccum it up…

                  nope… we’re students (well i am and my boyfiend just graduated) so our money is going to layla’s operation. its 530 shekels which is about,$148..sigh…what we do for our bunnies….

                    There is a futon in the bunny room, and one time jack got up there an peed. Never has done that before, we were lucky to have a water-resistent cover and it never soaked through the mattress, but I used the vinegar and water mix, and then I used Nature’s Miracle. That seemed to help and you do have to leave it on for 24 hours, but I also was lucky to have only the cover and so I could also pop that in the wash to finish it off. It was like new. So maybe once you clean this, you can get a water-resistent cover or a water-resistent lining that you can put underneath the cover.

                    I am not sure how to get it out of a mattress. Somewhere I heard borax and Hydrogen Peroxide.
