Not sure if this is appropriate to post here but…

Are there plans to actually fix this forum and hopefully revive it? Seems like the forum was under upgrades, then broke, and basically died. For recent years, it keeps erroring and still does for me.

I can’t find any other place for to ask bun questions that has the balanced and educated community as here.

I originally joined years ago, then had to drop off for a good while due to some personal reasons. I’m trying to be more active here again, though, because I really enjoy the bunny community that hangs out here. 🙂

Its also great to see so many familiar faces still around. I know the forums from a technical standpoint still seem to be having issues, but I’m grateful to the mods who are working to keep things posting smoothly.

This forum board is definitely the best I have found in terms of knowledge and awesome members. 😀

I don’t currently experience any technical issues with the forum. Can you describe what is happening?

FWIW, I have enjoyed seeing some familiar faces lately. This was such an awesome bunny community (and still can be). Everyone was so caring and we had some very knowledgeable members. I miss the glory days.

I’m not sure if it’s actually a technical issue or just the way things work now, but it seems every post I make (whether a new topic I create or a response to someone else in their thread) has to be approved by mods before it shows up. It just seems like this is a lot of work for you mods, so I feel a little guilty sometimes for posting too much lol.

Occasionally it won’t let me add new pictures later on in a thread I’ve started (I had made an “update with photos” one a bit ago and it wouldn’t let me make a reply later on with new photos).

But otherwise, it seems to be working fine. 😀

I’ve posted my issues in the technical section for some time.

1. I actually have issues logging in and have to try multiple times. For example, if I go to the top right, login, forum. It then takes me to wordpress to login? Claims I’m logged in. Then when I try posting, I says I’m not logged in. Sometimes I click refresh and it seems to show I’m logged in but then, I go to reply to someone’s post and it shows I’m not logged in again. After repeating a few times, eventually it sticks.
2. 99% of my posts go into moderation regardless of what I post. I strangely had one recently that didn’t and I was excited that it was fixed but I guess that was a goof up 🙂

Yes, I never felt any hostility here. Even when people post about things we don’t talk about here, it was very nice response and still try to help showing them where to get answers. Also, lots of bun info exchange, not just flooded with pictures. Pics are great too but you can get them easily elsewhere.

Forgot to say… When I press the post button, it actually takes me to a WordPress page that says there’s a critical error. I have to find my way back to the forum and then see my post awaiting moderation.

We did have that problem some time ago for the mods as well. I hope it’s sth BB can fix!

I got the WordPress sign in about 2-3 weeks ago. And also just now when trying to log in to reply to this thread. Id stay signed in on the Home page but be automatically logged out once on the forum pages. I was using Safari but ended up trying a different browser and had better luck.

I’m definitely late to this thread… I’m guilty of forgetting about the forum because it’s pretty inactive. But I hope the forum gets revived too! I miss the image competitions we used to have, those were so fun. And the monthly chats were great too. This was such a good place to ask questions, everyone is so nice.

Yeah, I agree!

I was thinking about itbthe other day and I realized that, while its still a great place to get vun questions answered, the socializing/friendly chat has gone down since its not as active. Things like the photo contests and bunny naming contests and monthly chats. Its a lot of fun getting to know the hooms behind the buns, too! 😀

I haven’t been active in a while either as things just dropped off as it wasn’t as active, and guilty of being back because had a question.  It really is an invaluable resource.

I miss this place.

After we lost Daisy and our home was bunless for the first time in a decade, visiting here was just… painful.
I have been meaning to pop back a few times over the last 11 months, since we became bun-parents again, but something always seems to get in the way…
I’m now guilty of popping in just to have a moan. Not even a question, just bonding frustration and moaning, really…

I do miss being in regular contact with a load of folks who actually get rabbits, though.
