So I picked the babies up yesterday. They have grown sooooo much in the space of just over a week. I had to give the fluffiest bun a little haircut because her hair is so long that you couldn’t see her eyes, in fact she just looked like a round ball of white fuzz! She doesn’t seem as nervous as she was to be honest although not keen on me picking her up. They seem very happy and have been binkying about all day. I’m attaching a couple of pics, though not great ones so I will take some more tomorrow once they are more settled. I really wish I could keep them seeing how they have been passed around already but it just wouldn’t be fair on them.

I didn’t get the opportuinty to see mum and dad because they were out somewhere in the garden. They didn’t try them together in a safe environment and just let them back out in the garden together. Thank god I neutered him and they were lucky that they got along because she was so aggressive towards my rabbits.

Thanks, another question slightly off topic…. My phoebe was spayed yesterday and she has eaten very very little, just a few strands of hay and a little apple and parsley. I don’t know what to do!! syringe feeding stresses her so much so I want to avoid this unless I absolutely have to. How long did it take for your buns to start eating after their spay??

no, that’s a fluff ball, you’ve stuck eyes and ears on her right? That is too cute to be a real animal, both are sweethearts!

he he, actually that picture doesn’t do her justice! she is so cute. The flash was on so it’s made her look a little strange.

They don’t have homes yet 🙁

I’m posting a pic before I trimmed her hair and afterwards ha ha… she is only 9 1/2 weeks so she is going to wind up even fluffier! Excuse all of the mud, their runs are sitting on what is supposed to be my vegetable patch!!

Phoebe is on metacam but I’ve never had a bun not eating whilst on it. I’m just more concerned about her because two weeks ago she just had a check up at the vets and went into stasis due to the stress, so I knew I wasn’t going to have it easy with her. If she doesn’t pick up soon i’ll give her a dose of metaclopramide to try and get things moving.

Charlie, can you start a new topic for this?  You’ll really get a better response that way.  Do you have any pain meds? Have you broken up the parsely to tempt her, how about some mint?  Try everything you can, can you get canned pumpkin (without the spices) where you are?  Try just softening the pellets in a bit of water and see if she will have a go at it.

OMG Charlie, I may just have to take a quick flight over the pole and nab that little fluffy cutie pie! >.< They are both so adorable, I wish I could take them on!
I am so glad they are home and safe with you. I wish you all the best in finding new homes for them. There has to be a God, when you see something that was created so lovingly, surely He has created loving folks who will take them in!
