I have two buns, mother and son; mother (2 1/2) son (2)  the mother has the problem she is fine when son is in his cage.  when we let son out she goes crazy she want to hurt him and he is terrified.  she doesnt stop and fur flies.  recently mom changed he sleeping habits, she used to  go to bed upstairs, when she would do that we would leave her son out now she stays in the living room its like she knows that we will not let him out.

does anyone have any suggestion what we can do to make them friends or at least exist in the same house with out them hurting eachother.

Your profile indicated both rabbits are fixed.  If so, that’s a good start.  Is this Oreo and her son you are referring to? They will need to be bonded for things to be peaceable between them. Or you can have them live separate and unable to gain access to one another. Have you looked over the bonding info here?

Have they lived in the house together for past 2 years?  Bonding them might be tricky though not impossible.  You’ll have to find a really neutral zone to bond them in.Taking them right of their home might be better. So bonding them at a totally unfamiliar place of even having them bonded through a rabbit bonding service if you have that available to you.
