is having to go back to work and LEAVE MY BABIES (sad i know, I KNOW!!!), 5 minutes and i’ m outta here to return home and get licked to death by Bettie (she realises now if she she licks my hand she can wedge her head "just so" and get a head rub like no other, whilst Brian plonks himself down by the food bowl waiting expectantly for it to be filled, looking up with his big black eyes… whoooohoooo!)

Pepper sulks and acts out when I’m not around for a while.  When I was traveling so much last summer she started digging out her litterbox, and the day I went back to work last week we had rehearsal in the evening.  She bit my flute player, chewed a hole in his bag, and tried to eat my guitarist’s shoe!  I kept poking her with a pennywhistle to distract her.

I know the feeling. I can’t take both my animals back to school at once (my car is too small),s o i either have to leave my new bunny Humphrey with my mom for a while, or my poor antisocial chinchilla Baxter with her. On the one hand, I don’t want to leave Humphrey since he’s had too many homes already and I don’t want him to think I’m leaving him, but on the other hand Baxter doesn’t really like anyone other than me and gets really depressed when he’s with my mom. >__< (He's sort of nippy, so she's afraid to pet him and he gets attention starved) I also don't get to see my mom's bunny Monty (who was originally *my* bunny until she stole him) when I'm at school. Oh vacation, why can't you last forever?

I agree! My bunnies get spoiled with being out all day and miss that too.

I am home all the time with mine so they get lots of attention.

I don’t know how long it will last as I want to get back in to the work force.

When I do get a job It will really upset the animals, especially my two dogs who never leave my side.

Isn’t it just!! And Sweaty Bettie was a real biter when we first got her too, didn’t dare leave her out all night for fear of waking up without an finger, or toe, or an ear, or worse…an eyeball!!
