  I was trying to break a papaya tablet in half. The ones that BB sells. It wouldn’t break so I bit it in half. As good as those papaya tablets smell they do not taste good.
  
  So anyone who was thinking of tasting one don’t bother. They aren’t that great on our tastebuds.

  lolz! I did that too, BT! I just loved the smell and, because it’s supposed to be so good for digestive function and I thought I could get the hubby to eat them too for his pancreatitis, I tried one first. Yuck! WHY do the bunnies like those???
  
  And yes, it tastes about as good as a mouthful of vinegar, in case anyone was going to make a smart crack…. *eyes other members on the board-youknowwhoyouare!*

  lol okay since we are all confessing.. your not alone lol. They smell so good! the first day i got them i gave one to hammer who of course loved it and thought… hmm, smells good.. hammer loves them.. why not?! boy was it gross!

  Wow! Thanks for the warning, guys! I…normally taste test ALL of my bunnies’ foods at some point. >_> But that’s strange! Little-Bit goes INSANE for Papaya Tablets! I thought for sure from the smell that they would taste like Flintstones vitamins! But vinegar..? Yuck!
  
  Hmm, here’s MY theory. I’ll bet that bunnies are like cats in that they can’t taste ‘bitter’. (That would also explain how they can eat things like baseboard and electrical wire, and also why some bunnies *like* bitter apple..) Instead, I bet that that really strong yummy smell papaya tablets have is the main deciding factor in their delectable-ness, since smell actually plays a HUGE roll in taste. AKA, I’m betting that they actually ‘taste’ papya tablets through smell.

  And no Binkles, they don’t taste like vinegar, I just said it’s as nasty. If anyone has ever had to take brewer’s yeast for an ailment, it kinda reminds me of that. They’re just bland and not at all how they smell. But I like your theory, I wonder if bunnies have all the taste centers we do? Cats have more receptors in their eyes and dogs have a better sense of smell…maybe bunnies really don’t taste everything?
  
  And yes, K&D, I have tasted worse…I’ve eaten my own cooking! xD

  I am not a fan of Tenchi, but I LOVE Ryo-ohki. I have the mini plushie of her/him with the carrot in his mouth and just got the character card like it as well.
  Plus my messenger bag…
  And my plushie bakcpack…
  And a Ryo-ohki bunny ear hat, custom made…
  And a statue of Ryoko with little Ryo-ohli whose forehead jewel lights up should be in the mail by now…

  Yes, I have SOOO much Ryo-ohki and Mokona! I think I like the black one best (Modoki) but just watching my Tsubasa dvd’s and getting screenshots of Mokona and it’s general weirdness is a great way to spend the day!

  yes guilty as charged. I did the dog food thing.   Also I had gotten my dogs a dog jerky from teh pet store. Got home and forgot about it.   I found it later and started eating it. The dogs were going nuts for it. I was like why r they begging this much. Usually they don’t beg like that.
  
  Well it tasted some funny. But I kept eating. AFter a while my stomache hurt got upset oh did it hurt. I went to the kitchen and saw the wrappers in the trash and realized what had happened.
  
  Can’t believe I ate the whole thing both of them..   Tasted crappy too.   Well at least I solved the crappy taste problem. And after a bit the stomache ache went away. Gross

  holy crap at bunnytowne’s story… sounds like something my dad would do!
  
  He once just took old moldy food out of the fridge and scooped some out and ate it without really looking… needless to say, he ended up throwing up in the sink right afterward! Yuck.

  I was telling Dave I saw bacon flavoured popcorn at the petstore for dogs, and he was upset I didn’t get him any!! So, he didn’t but WOULD eat dog food!! LOL

  I agree K&D, the riske anime is NOT my thing…but there are so many good stories that don’t involve that, it’s really quite a cool art form.
