I’m so glad she’s better
!! I know how you felt- BunBun has done that several times and one time actually went into GI stasis, which of course made me even more hypersensitive to any signs of illness. Nelli has had two belly aches- just like Kahlua, I could tell something was wrong when she sat nicely letting me pat her. You just never get over that sick feeling in your stomache that you get when one of the bunnies is acting strange. They’re just so mysterious and quiet about being ill- it’s hard to tell what’s going on.
OK, so it’s not just my husband that is so clueless about sick bunnies? Lol- I’m sorry, but it is good to know :p. Rick (my hubby) ALWAYS gives the same response,”He’s fine, he’s just resting/not hungry/sitting in a different position.” If I try to talk about the next course of action if Bun doesn’t improve, he gets all upset and starts yelling that I need to “Calm down!” Lol- they tend to live in a dream world sometimes. I think they just hate to see the rabbits sick and see us upset, so they attempt to just wish it away. Very effective. I try to just ignore Rick’s protests and order him to help me if needed- it works better than trying to explain things to him.
