So it’s out with the dog crates and in with the hutches. I made a video of the new setup but I don’t know how to post it here. I did upload it to photobucket. Here’s the link.

Even though the hutches have the same square footage as the dog crates, it’s more broken up because of the two floors and the ramp, so I’ll be leaving the doors open 24/7. I don’t want them to be cramped. We often leave Smokey and Bandit unsupervised in the kitchen so I know they’ll be fine. Newton we’re not sure about so at night I’m just going to put an x-pen around the hutch.

They look great in the house! I think it’s great they can still be free range too. I love bunny people’s homes… baby gates and wicker and hidey boxes everywhere!

          Your family is beautiful also!

They are really good use of space. Neat and contained.

I’ll have to tell my husband that you commented on the hidey box. He made it for them and is soooo proud that they love using it. Both Smokey and Bandit use the booda dome. They’re so cute. One will stand guard at the entrance while the other is in there doing their business.  It makes a great second litter box.

Thanks! It’s also got a doorway that connects the Smokey side and the Bandit side, which Smokey likes to lounge across and then Bandit has to lie on the top.

What a great set up!!!! I love all your arrangements. I especially got a kick out of the names above the hidey hole entrances.
                      Beautiful!

Thank you! It’s funny but when the hidey hut was in the dog crate Smokey would never use the Smokey side and they’d ofen end up mismatched under the wrong name. Now, that I moved it, Smokey prefers the Smokey side, so you can actually tell who’s who.
