         Hello people.

I figured since I pop in every once in a while to ask questions, that I should behave like a civilized human being and introduce myself.

My name is Carrie and I currently live in Sydney Australia with my partner.  I have two pets and yes, I am one of those people who consider them my kids — even though I only admit this to “animal people”  because of the funny looks I tend to get from others.  One is a 2-3 year old chihuahua-esk thing called Jalebi.  The other, our newest member is a 3 1/2 month old holland (we call them mini here) lop called Puck (after the mischief causing forest imp from A Midsumer’s Night Dream).

Jalebi and Puck play wonderfully together.  Okay. Well.  Puck completely ignores Jalebi while Jalebi tries her hardest NOT to play games with him.  It’s a very one sided relationship.  My big man is fearless and sweet.  He loves raisins and running around corners.  His newest discovery is our L-shaped couch  – which he now spends countless  hours binkying around the corner of.

        A few pics.

Aww they’re very sweet, I love that name Jalebi! It’s also a yummy sweet that is found in India and Pakistan (I’ve had a few too many myself) that is absolutely delicious! And your Jalebi looks to be just as sweet!

Yes, Jalebi is both sweet and quite the poser. She is such a diva though. She’s named after the indian sweet because it’s my favorite.

I think Puck likes Jalebi well enough. He likes to stand between Jalebi’s legs. This wouldn’t be such a problem if Jalebi would just play it cool. But NOOO she gets so excited by the attention that she starts dancing on Puck’s head. He just get’s this look on his face– “stupid cat.”

Aw Puck looks like my Layla! What a sweetie.

I was thinking when I saw Jalebi “Oh yum” lol. What a cool name for a pet! I would have loved to call one of my bunnies Kaju Katli (a yummy cashew sweet) but my partner wouldn’t let me He can be such a spoil sport sometimes!

They’re adorable! Wish I’d thought of the name Puck when I was trying to name my bun.

You guys are making me hungry…

Yeah I am actually more worried about Puck kicking Jalebi’s ass more than the other way around. They were being so cute here. Nuzzling each other and stuff. And then I whipped out the camera and they were like “quick, look like we don’t want to be here. THERE CANNOT BE EVIDENCE!!”
