Well, most of them anyway. You may remember my litter of 8, I am now down to one of the girls, Sidney. The good news is that 3 have been adopted already, the bad news is that until last night, I had the four remaining boys. Early yesterday morning, and then again late last evening, the boys went berserk. They were a growling, seething biting mass of hysteria. One of them took a chunk out of my finger as I was trying to break up the fur ball. I have never seen anything like it, they were like a tornado of bunnies. Several got bite wounds, and at least one will now require a trip to the vet to treat a wound. I feel so terrible that this happened. I split them up after the big fight, but I guess the damage was done. Our director said not to feel badly, these things happen with boys, and it was only a matter of time. I guess they should have been split up sooner, but there just was no place to put them. I just can’t help but feel that I should have done something more after I saw the first fight. We thought that it was just normal boy chasing behavior. I guess 10 weeks was just a little too long to keep them together.
