Today, my hubby and I went to the fair. One of the first placeswe went was to the rabbit area.  My hubby and I were looking at the other rabbits.  They had some for sale.  I was almost tempted to buy a cute little lion head. I know right now with Holly not being spayed yet that wouldn’t be a good idea, and Hubby was like no you have enough on your hands with Holly. I was ok with it, but if I could I would have taken him/her home. I’m not sure what its sex was.

Now that I have Holly, the fair makes me sad. I used to show bunnies there many moons ago as I have mentioned.  The pens seemed too small for them.  We were looking at the fact wall, and we were happy that we were doing everything it said. A lot of the info that was on the wall is something that someone can find on this site.  Like proper nutrition with small amount of pellets, greens, and unlimited hay.  One thing I was happy to see was on this list was the fact that rabbits need exercise.  Even though the fair itself isn’t a good place for these bunnies, it looks like the kids are informed and hopefully these bunnies have good homes.

                  Bunnytowne,
I actually thought of you while I was there. I was like “Oh, this is how Bunnytowne feels like.” A couple of days ago, I read those posts people wrote to you about being happy with one. I said Ok this could apply to me, and my judge and jury was with me, so I was like ok. I am glad I went though. I’ve never seen a lion head in person.

                      Yeah,
I was just thinking about the fair. Hindsight. There was a table set up as people walked into see the bunnies. I guess they were the ones in charge of selling the bunnies. They had three or four bunnies in an open mini pin sitting on the table. At the time, I didn’t think about it, but I”m not sure this was the best. I know they wanted to advertise their bunnies, but kids were crowding the table to see them. They were letting them hold them. I felt sorry for the poor bunnies. Holly is social, but if that many people try to give her attention she freaks.

I mentioned about a little lion head that I really liked. While we were looking at it, a family asked us to move. They opened up the cage and took the bunny out and took a picture with it and put it back. I do not know if this bunny was somebody’s they knew or not. I don’t know why, but that freaked me out. If they had permission then I guess it was ok. Maybe this is just me, and I’m being a fuddy duddy.

i read an advert for a bun that said ‘rabbits for sale, small in size, are easy pets to keep and very cheap, ideal for young children because of size contact blah blah’ i tried phoning to have a go at this person because i was pissed off, but the number wasnt right
