Today’s Daily Duncan
Monday mornings make you just want to crawl under the bed. Luckily there’s Duncan.
BONUS:
Duncan is such a happy soul. His daddy went in to get ready for work and Duncan was a ball of binkies. Daddy said that he came over to him and sat with his paw on his shoe while he tied it, and then when he stood up, Duncan did a half-binky-spaz and then ran about the room doing binkies. He got some pellets for being a happy silly boy and making Daddy smile on Monday morning.

Today’s Daily Duncan
I’m sure by now there is a pattern developing.
Not only does he make this face every time food is brought in, it is usually followed by running, circling, light boxing and honking. If the food takes too long to get to a level at which he can eat it (doesn’t have to be floor level) then he may grunt and try to grab it from you; but he’s always careful not to bite down or scratch and break skin. He just can’t stress enough the importance of his food!

Daily Duncan (almost late)
Duncan has been such a good boy today. He kept a close eye on Tilly and tried desperately to get to her when he was left in the cage and she was being examined. Once she was back in the cage with him they were snuggled in together with her behind him where he could keep her safe. Once they got home, he followed her to where she wanted to be and gave her lots of kisses. Now they’re sharing dinner.
This picture is actually from the other day, but shows about how connected they’ve been when either is upset. Currently just reverse who is on top and it’s a pretty good depiction (except for right now.. there’s salad.)

Daily Duncan for Tuesday
BONUS:
My alarm clock went off this morning, and Duncan hopped over, stood up, and stared at it while I turned it off and rolled back over to go back to sleep. Shortly after I was woken back up to scuffling and banging, only to see Duncan pull the plug out of the socket! He damaged to cord while he did it, so the alarm is thoroughly dead; but gotta love his level of opinionated! I don’t like the alarm either but I let it live!

Daily Duncan for Wednesday
Bunny Comparison:
- Tilly and Duncan are actually about the same size. Depending on which one is squished down, makes the other look larger. Tilly’s head is slightly smaller, and is rounder with much more fluff on it; so it looks the same size or bigger… unless it’s tucked down into her dewlap; then it looks smaller.
- Duncan has deep brown eyes. Tilly has marbled eyes (currently with a little white scar that will hopefully heal and go away.)
- Tilly has wider/larger teeth than Duncan, but Duncan has a larger/longer mouth.
- Feeling them, their spines appear to be about the same length, but Tilly’s has more of a natural curve, while Duncan is more straightened. Their shoulders, feet and hips are also about the same size.
- Duncan is more evenly muscled and is a very strong puller, where as Tilly has more muscle in her hindquarters and has thumpers you can hear across the house and downstairs.
- Tilly’s fur has flyback and is satiny/shiny, with white bases to the hairs
- Duncan’s fur has become softer since we’ve had him, but has no fly-back, and appears to have 3 or 4 colors on every one,
- Duncan will smother Tilly in kisses, hoping for kisses back. Tilly will take the kisses, then smother people in kisses… but she has started to give kisses to Duncan after several minutes of head-pressing and him being pitiful.
