So I thought it would be a good day to take my bonded pair of rabbits outside, Binkies and Tulip. I never thought it would turn out this way!
I took the both of them out in their brand new play area. It is made of softwood that is extra chewable, but a little bit flimsy. They were just chillin’, eating grass, and I noticed Tulip loved to chew on the wood. Then, I noticed that Tulip suddenly started to sneeze a whole lot. It was just starting to rain anyway, so I figured I would take them both inside. So I did, and I also started to clean up their litterbox. While I was in their cage, cleaning up waste that had fallen out of the litterbox, Tulip stayed right by my side while Binkies caused trouble, as usual. Tulip started to have a sneeze attack, I looked at her, and a massive splinter came out of her nose!
My jaw dropped. She cleaned it off her face and chewed on it a little more.
I don’t think I’ll be using that playpen again.
